On the whole the practice performs extremely well within the restrictions of the NHS guide lines and funding. Doctors must guard against transmitting their frustrations with the system and their own lack of support through to their patients.

The practice is fabulous. The staff all demonstrate care and empathy to patients, and carers, and often go the extra mile to ensure that patients are able to access appropriAte services in a timely Manner. The GP's know their patients, and work with us to ensure that we are well cared for, I particularly value the effectiveness of telephone consults and written requests. We are very lucky to have the practice.

It is very difficult to get an appointment with a doctor - the line is constantly busy and there is always a huge waiting list (usually around 2-3 weeks, in my experience). I acknowledge that this is due to cuts by the current government, but it is very frustrating. However, staff in the practice are very kind and helpful and you never feel rushed by any of the doctors, nurse practitioners or reception staff, who do a fantastic job.
