Lack of appointments and your telephone call back from the Doctor over a 24 hour time span is unacceptable, I don’t bother the surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary and when I do there are barriers from the receptionist all the time, I work in a GP surgery myself and fully understand the pressures everyone is under but twice now on separate occasions I have rang for emergency advice and have been told I will get a call sometime, so as I said previously this is unacceptable.

It would have been even better if doctors appointments were more readily available.

I have always been to Dockham Road Surgery. Through the many doctors and nurses that I have been seen by over the years, I have always felt supported, cared for and reassured. I have always felt that whoever has made time for me. At one particular time, I was very worried for myself, with the swift attention and continuous communication, I felt at ease and supported. This is also including the appointments I have made throughout the years for my 3 children.

Reception staff always friendly and will do their upmost to fit in appointments for my young children at short notice if required.
Doctors are kind and helpful - even when I can see that the staff are under immense time pressure. I always leave my consultations feeling happy with the advice/ treatment received.
I have also had numerous appointments with midwifes and nurses all of whom are excellent at their jobs.
