I really like the new triage system. It has worked really well on the last 2 occasions I have used it for my husband. The first occasion he was seen within half an hour of the Dr calling me back and the second time a prescription was sent to the pharmacy for him and an X-ray form left in reception.
Before, I gave up calling at 08.00 as the phone would ring and play annoying music for half an hour before getting through, only to be told,there were no appointments left. We resorted to getting up to the surgery before 07.30 and wait until 08.00 in order to get an appt that day. On a couple of occasions we have stood in the cold and rain with my husband feeling really ill which is clearly not conducive to health.
This system is great with a Dr deciding on medical need. If this is an experiment please keep it going.

Myself and my family have been patients at Nuffield House for almost ten years and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience there. The receptionists, nurses and doctors all go the extra mile to help in any way they can. If I have needed an emergency appointment for myself or my children I have always been fitted in the same day. The receptionists are friendly and professional and go out of there way to help you get seen as needed. The nurses are fantastic and the doctors have always been thorough and sympathetic to whatever the problem may be. I can't thank the surgery enough for the service they have provided over
the years. I feel extremely lucky to have found a surgery I have complete faith in .

The reception staff are extremely helpful and pleasant, and have always done their very best to ensure that patients can see a doctor or nurse that day if the problem is urgent.
